SalaryAngel Lane Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for a Dispensary Assistant to join our busy dispensary team, on a part time basis for 27 hours per week, over 4 days, to work at the heart of our patient care service.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Greeting and directing all patients at the dispensary counter;
- Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions and dispensed items;
- Dealing with requests for information, and managing problems and complaints;
- Advising patients of practice procedures;
- Answering the telephone, promptly;
- Flexibility to cover other areas when required – multi-skill mix;
- Any ad hoc work which is requested of the post-holder.
