Hays Healthcare are actively recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Dispensary Pharmacist (Band 6) to join our team at the NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a high-quality pharmacy service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications to patients.
- Provide advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication.
- Ensure medicines supplied correspond with the prescriptions.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Comply with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
What you'll need to succeed (essential)
- Master's degree in Pharmacy
- Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
- Evidence of and commitment to continuing professional development
- Good clinical knowledge
- Awareness of current issues
- Significant post-registration experience
- Variety of clinical pharmacy experience
- Good written, verbal and communication skills
