Our client is a full-service international law firm, operating from more than 60 offices across the globe, they are recognised for their knowledge and leading work across all sectors. This role will see you joining a specialist, agile team who are currently assisting on a major 'managed legal service' contract, you will assist and report to the principal lawyer within the litigation team and can expect to be involved in a range of high-profile work within a collegiate and supportive environment.
As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Handling a variety of work including civil and commercial disputes, drafting, reviewing and negotiating documents, taking detailed instructions from clients, assisting with court procedure and relevant ADR related issues and more.
- Attending court and mediation processes, also client meetings and counsel conferences.
- Utilising excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
- The training and mentorship of junior and paralegal staff.
To be considered for the role you will:
- Possess detailed knowledge of alternative Dispute Resolution, civil and commercial disputes matters.
- Experience of handling, drafting and reviewing a broad range of legal documents.
- Any knowledge of the following would be highly desirable; UK procurement regimes, regulated utility work issues, consumer law and data protection law, competition law.
