About the Role: Distance Learning Tutor (Part-time, flexible contract, home-based) BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing / Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship We have an opening for a Distance Learning Tutor to deliver content via Distance Learning on our BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing and Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship courses. The role will be a mix of remotely supporting students and delivery of campus-based workshops at one of our campuses (Chelmsford, Cambridge, London or Peterborough). Typically, Tutors would be expected to deliver 2 workshops per 12-week Trimester. Online module delivery will involve supporting students as they work through the provided asynchronous module content. Tutors will host a minimum of 3 live, recorded, webinars per Trimester (12-week duration). Tutors will also provide support to students via the Learning Management Systems (LMS) discussion posts, activities and via email communication. Tutors will complete marking of scripts. Ideally the suitable candidate would have experience of teaching via online delivery, however this is not essential. This role would also suit an experienced practitioner or professional in the subject field. Experience of online course design is also desirable. For module delivery on our apprenticeship course, experience of delivering on apprenticeship courses is desirable. You will have relevant academic qualifications and a minimum of a full postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject area, along with experience of applying skills, methods and techniques in a learning and teaching environment. You will be IT literate, and student focussed with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be eligible to apply for this role you must be based in and have a Right to Work in the UK. Distance Learning Tutors will be home based, hours will be flexible determined by allocated module cohort numbers and credit weighting of the module.
