Butler Ross are recruiting for an exciting Warehouse and Logistics Manager position based in Huntingdon, this position is a busy and varied role that will be managing both the logistics function and the warehouse and distribution centre for a very highly performing company with internal brand recognition. This is a pivotal role to the team and they are looking for the right manager to come and join them and made a real difference to the status quo.
This role is 100% office based just outside of Huntingdon with set 7:30am - 4pm working hours Monday - Thursday with an early finish on a Friday.
Duties of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
- Managing a large warehouse and distribution centre with over 8,000 active SKUs and a team that grows up to 80 in the peak season.
- Working under time pressure across multiple channels and projects at any one time.
- Direct management of the day-to-day operations of the UK warehouse and 3PL partners.
- Leading and managing the EMEA logistics and distribution function.
- Making quick operations decision without other internal teams' best interests in mind without the need to consult them with every decision.
- Experienced and proficient leader, who is able to communicate at all levels, influence decision making and lead from the front.
- Able to always influence change and lead with best practice.
Experience Required for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
- Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-moving environment.
- An experienced people manager with strong influencing skills and excellent emotional intelligence.
- Experience in a distribution environment would be highly advantageous.
- Able to work both hands-on and strategically.
- Experience with WMS/ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong IT Skills including Excel.
- Well organised with good numeracy skills.
Location: Huntingdon, 100% onsite.
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits.
This role would be well suited to a warehouse manager, warehouse director, distribution manager, distribution director, Logistics Manager, logistics director, operations manager or operations director.
