About the role:
Astute’s Renewables Team is proudly and exclusively partnering with a global business who are growing rapidly here in the UK market. They’re a dynamic, forward-thinking and proactive business who have strategic and realistic plans to make significant waves in the UK residential, commercial and industrial solar sectors.

This Distribution Channel Manager / Distribution Sales Manager role comes with a starting salary of circa �55,000 plus a bonus, hybrid working and a rare opportunity to have a major influence on a corporation’s growth in the UK market.

Responsibilities and duties:

* Establishing and nurturing new client relationships
* Establishing new Distribution Channels in the UK market to sell PV modules, inverter technology and full solutions
* Assisting with the generation of the sales strategy. Implementing and executing this
* Help active installers grow their portfolio of the client’s products
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to its clients, showcasing the benefits of the products
* Assisting the Country Lead with generating and working to accurate sales forecasts
* Stay updated on industry news and trends
* Attend trade shows and present the solutions to prospective partners
* Prepare and present sales proposals
* Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* Ideally, a higher education in a relevant, technical field ie electrical engineering or renewable energy
* Ideally, at least 5 years in a similar role
* Good knowledge of solar PV and inverter technology
* UK driving licence and vehicle

Personal skills:
The Site Operator role would suit someone who is:

* Someone who can work autonomously
* A great relationship builder
* Willing to travel and spend time to go and get to know people in person
