- Minimum of two years of relative experience, preferably in operations and/or maintenance
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or post secondary diploma
- Computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word. experience working with computerized equipment or automation systems such as Factory Talkview or Toptech is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license with a clear abstract
- Show your dedication and support the terminal operation to improve our safety culture and overall safety performance
- Manage fuel material by receiving product into tanks via pipeline and truck, transferring product from tank to tank, and draining and preparing equipment for maintenance
- Perform product sampling and testing as per the schedule or when required due to quality issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on terminal buildings, loading, product piping and tank infrastructure
- Issue or authorize work permits in accordance with our standards
- Conduct regular driver and worker observations to ensure adherence to all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations including fires and spills as required
- Maintain competencies by reading and understanding new procedures or relevant changes to the manuals and documentation, and ensure regulatory training and certifications are up to date
- You will work out of our London Terminal, located at 2080 Oxford Street East
- This position will require shift work in a unionized environment
- This position is safety sensitive
- You will be required to perform all essential physical aspects and responsibilities of the role with the mechanical aptitude to capably handle the operation of terminal equipment and maintenance in an all-weather outdoor environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
