Job Description
The Distribution Planner will be responsible for;
- Overseeing the distribution process to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Managing the logistics department to drive operational efficiency
- Developing and implementing distribution strategies in line with company objectives
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems
- Identifying potential operational issues and implementing proactive solutions
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Providing regular reports on distribution activities to senior management
The Successful Applicant
A successful Distribution Planner should have:
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
