Job description

We have a fantastic temporary position with one of our lovely clients. This role is hybrid working 3 days a week in the office.


This role is on going for 3 months and the main responsibility will be training programmes around the topics of Disability Confident and planning for Black History month.

The Role- Diversity and Inclusion Officer


Hours- 35 hours a week either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm


Address: Liverpool City Centre


Pay: £16.50-£19 hourly


Duties and Responsibilities


The post holder will lead the clients engagement regarding disability equality, including the client's application for the DWP Disability Confident Level 3. They will advise on addressing issues regarding access to work, reasonable adjustments, adjustment planner, and adjustment passport. Additionally, they will create and lead the development of bespoke training and workshops tailored to meet the specific needs of their diverse community, such as racial literacy, intercultural competence, etc. The successful candidate will produce guidance documents as required.


Furthermore, the role will involve assisting with the client's application for other external Charter Marks accreditation's, such as Advance Equality Charter Mark Silver Award, Athena Swan, Stonewall, etc to ensure successful applications.


The post requires experience working on DI initiatives, facilitating DI workshops and development offerings to ensure a positive impact on an organisation. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and a high level of Microsoft literacy in all packages, including web design; experience with awareness-raising activities and facilitating workshops and events to drive the delivery of our inclusivity agenda.
