Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 per annum plus benefits

We are looking for an experienced Regional or Divisional Manager to lead, support and inspire high performing Supporter Led Fundraising Team within Yorkshire and Northwest England. You will be responsible for ensuring we reach our ambitious business objectives by engaging supporters at all levels, using a data driven approach to identify regional opportunities, translating national strategy into local success.
Having recently been through an element of change within the team, with a strong focus on securing new fundraising opportunities within the area, we are looking for an ambitious individual to build on our success and challenge us to think differently and creatively, with the goal of bringing in crucial funds for our life saving research.
We are open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds, you may have worked for a charity before and are looking for your next challenge or you may come from a different sector, where you have delivered commercial success through a high performing team.
This is a field-based role, where you will spend 40 percent of your time out and about with your team or networking and 60 percent home based.
What will I be doing?
- Devising and maintaining a divisional plan, in collaboration with Divisional Senior Manager, using data and knowledge of local insights to adapt National and Communities strategies.
- Leading, managing and motivating a team of Relationship Manager and a Relationship Executive, to develop and maximise proactive and planned giving, while developing and delivering collaborative strategies with other teams
- Setting, implementing, and monitoring stretching and motivating KPIs in line with national and divisional strategies
- Delivering agreed financial targets in line with the divisional strategy, seeking cost-effective solutions within own area of influence
- Monitoring income and expenditure monthly through commentary and forecasts, implementing contingency plans as required, and working with the ops team to ensure reporting is relevant and accurately informs future actions

What skills will I need?
- Proven track record of managing, motivating and inspiring a field-based team to meet organisational requirements.
- Proven experience of utilising data and insight to make well informed, future focused decisions, as well as develop and implement plans.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven Experience in identifying and developing new opportunities and relationships.
- Proven track record in building successful relationships and influencing at all levels, including the confidence and credibility to challenge when needed.
- Experience in setting, monitoring and achieving budgets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A flexible approach to managing ambiguity and changing environments.
