VANRATH are thrilled to be assisting one of our major clients in Carrickfergus with the recruitment of a Temporary Document Checkerto join their fun and friendly team.

Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 17:00

Salary

£35,000 - £40,000 per year + fantastic benefits in a modern workplace

• This vacancy is an urgent requirement and an immediate start is sought after.
• Experience in Document Control and on site experience is sought after.

Responsibilities:

• Registering incoming correspondence in an Excel tracking spreadsheet.
• Chasing responsible persons for their replies within prescribed timescales.
• Maintaining registers of outgoing correspondence and ensuring proper correspondence numbering.
• Maintaining registers of documents in Microsoft Excel.
• Filing received documentation in company SharePoint folders.
• Supporting other project team members with ad-hoc administrative and clerical activities as required.

Essential Criteria:

• IT literate and familiar with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Diligent and accurate in the processing of data.
• Taking the initiative to make corrections to data or identify gaps where numbering sequence indicates items might be missing.
• The ability to influence and build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience of working in a technical environment or Construction project.
