Document Controller
Location: Northern Home Counties
Project Based with flexibility for occasional remote working
We are looking for an experienced and talented Document Controller to set up, manage and maintain project document control systems in line with company, customer and project within the Business. This position is project based, with flexibility for occasional remote working.
About the role:
You will be working within our Construction Home Counties business, where you will:
Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
Check that all information complies with specified company formats, templates and standards
Set up and manage the timely compilation of operational and maintenance manuals.
Maintain the documents and drawings providing a full comprehensive traceability of change.
Ideally you will have:
Experience of Viewpoint software and a clear understanding of Workflow
Significant experience in the main contracting market with experience of working on schemes between £10 and £40 million.
What are we looking for?
As an experienced Document Controller, you will have a good understanding of electronic document management systems and educated to NVQ level or equivalent experience.
You should also have strong knowledge of setting up and using electronic document management systems, knowledge in use of spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software.
