I am looking for an experienced Document Controller to work in the Brighton area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working within the construction or water industry.
Role: Document Controller
Location: Brighton
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000- £35,000 per year- Plus a package!

Duties will include:
- Uploading and management of documents within the eDMS
- Handling / Managing our Projectwise systems
- Document management processes and systems
- Review, management and uploading of documents
- Understanding and adhere to legal, contract
- Deal with enquiries efficiently and effectively
- Promote training to operational team and suppliers in use of the eDMS (SharePoint and Business Collaborator) and related IT systems
- Provide assurance to Senior Document Controllers
- Identify and implement areas for improvement and share best practice
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in document control function.
- High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other IT systems.
- Several years experience in a similar role in a construction or related industry.
- Highly organised with an attention to detail, ability to plan and prioritise own workload, able to work effectively to deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior engineers in both verbal and written.
- Good interpersonal skills and team worker
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the Southern Water region, mainly to the East of the M23/A23.
- Experience in use of Business Collaborator, SharePoint and/or a quick learner/problem solver
Skills Desirable:
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
- Someone with a commitment to Right first time
