Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our client's site based in Falkirk. This is temporary 3 month contract with an ASAP start.
This is fast paced role and requires someone with a working knowledge of document control. You will be an organised individual and will be confident at delivering in this role. Main tasks include:
- Controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
- Allocating and controlling the document numbering system for the project work
- Responding in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel
- Administration of PIRS document system
- Receiving all site deliveries
- Keeping the Site Manager or deputy informed of all site related activities
The ideal candidate will be reliable and will have the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a pressurised environment. You will be confident in your own abilities and will be comfortable communicating with people at all levels of business. Mon - Fri, 8am - 5.30pm.
