Skilled Careers are currently looking for a Document Controller to come and fill a brand new vacancy within a Main Contractor who are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join the team on a brand new GBP30 million refurbishment project.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation and maintenance of document control systems, processes and procedures
- Input document data
- Upload documentation files onto EDMS.
- Coordinate activities related to document control including technical documents, drawings and commercial correspondence
- Generate document control reports as required
- Ensure copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings
- Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project
Skills & Experience
- Experience of managing deadlines
- Ability to organise work load effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Good written and spoken communication
- A good standard of computer skill including Microsoft packages
- Keen eye for detail
- Team player
