FurryTails Dog Grooming, located in the vibrant North West region, is seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning according to breed specifications and customer preferences.
• Assess the health and condition of pets' coats, skin, ears, and teeth and report any abnormalities to pet owners or veterinarians.
• Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the grooming process.
• Maintain a clean and organised grooming area, including equipment sanitisation and disinfection.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on breed standards and current trends.
• Manage appointment scheduling, walk-in clients, and client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends, grooming techniques, and pet care products to provide the highest level of service to our clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient grooming experience for pets and their owners.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dog Groomer, preferably in a professional grooming salon or similar setting.
• Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Ability to safely handle and restrain pets of various sizes and temperaments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high grooming standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Certification from a recognised grooming school or equivalent experience is preferred.
