Responsibilities:

* Perform full-service grooming on various dog breeds, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling according to breed standards or client preferences.

* Conduct health checks to identify any potential issues and report them to pet owners.

* Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring the safety and comfort of both pets and staff.

* Build positive relationships with pet owners and communicate effectively to understand their grooming preferences.

* Stay informed about the latest grooming trends and techniques to enhance skills and services.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Dog Groomer.

* Ideally, a level 3 qualification would be great however, we can consider level 2 .

* Proficient in grooming techniques for various breeds and coat types.

* Knowledge of pet health and behaviour.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

* Certification from a reputable grooming school is an additional advantage.

Working hours: 37.5 per week for full-time positions; we would consider part-time positions. We would require Saturday work within your contracted hours.

Salary: £11.50-£12.50 per hour- depending on your experience and skills.
