Dog Walker/Daycare Islington

Paws Galore Pet Sitters are currently looking for a Dog Walker in the N1 Islington area of London, you must live in or live close to this postcode.

Be able to have dogs stay in your property during the day and some overnights

Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will have a real passion for working with dogs and be confident walking bigger breeds, as well as up to 4 or 5 dogs together.

You will need to be available Monday - Friday between the hours of 10am-4/5pm

We are looking for people who are:

Passionate about animals, particularly dogs

Used to walking groups of dogs, up to 4 at a time

Reliable and consistent - due to the nature of this job this is paramount!

Enthusiastic

A home where you can have a small number of dogs during the day providing daycare.

Can use their own initiative in situations and have plenty of common sense

Prepared to work outdoors in ALL weathers

Own a smartphone

A high standard of spoken and written English

To be considered we will need

A copy of your CV

A personal statement explaining your experience

A commitment to us of at least 12 months

You must be comfortable holding keys to clients homes and take responsibility to not lose keys or lock themselves out while ensuring the security of the clients homes. You must respect client confidentiality and walkers friends and/or children should not be present during walks.

THIS WORK IS ON A SELF EMPLOYED BASIS -

You will be responsible for your own income tax (see www.hmrc.gov.uk for more information), national insurance and record-keeping. If you are not able to work due to illness, injury or you are away on holiday you will not earn any income.
