Job Introduction

Role Purpose

> 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time permanent DoLS Administrator to join our well established Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team (DoLS) in BCP Council. You will be part of running the service day to day, supporting the DoLS service’s improvement and development as well as having the opportunity to take part in project work linked to this. We are a highly motivated team, who are very supportive of each other.


Main Responsibilities

You will over time learn different parts of the process which include processing incoming referrals, inputting information into spreadsheets, emailing out work to assessors, dealing with invoices, completing letters based on templates, and dealing with telephone and email enquiries.


The Ideal Candidate

You will be able to use the main applications (EXCEL, Outlook, Word, Sharepoint and Teams) and it would be desirable if you are familiar with Dynamics F & O and Mosaic. You need to be a team player, highly motivated and keen to learn as this is a very process driven role, whilst able to work on your initiative. You will be provided with a structured induction and staggered learning of the DoLS process and receive regular supervision.
