You will have a sound knowledge of legislation and the ability to relate this to effective person-centred practice. You need to be able to supervise and support the practice of the Best Interest assessor and provide advice, guidance, and mentorship to ensure that through the correct application of the MCA and the DoLs process that a person’s Article 5 right to liberty and security and Article 8 right to respect for private and family life, home and correspondence are protected.
