What you’ll be doing

Designing scalable, integrated solutions, within a business domain, enabling Paragon's digital transformation, and furthering our mission to support the ambitions of the people and businesses of the UK by delivering specialist financial services.
Becoming a subject matter expert for a core technology platform, defining reference architectures, best practices, and interpreting platform roadmaps to influence adoption within Paragon.
Building relationships within architecture, delivery teams and your assigned business domain.
Supporting other architects in the team and participating in architecture reviews.
Evaluating technology trends which support the business vision and strategy.

What you’ll bring to the team

A good understanding of how key solution components (applications, cloud, COTS, APIs, hosting, identity management and security) are designed based on real-world experience.
Facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholders, challenging and validating requirements and assumptions.
Providing architecture expertise & guidance to the delivery team, advising on possible solution options, and identifying opportunities to increase capability.
Enthusiasm, pragmatism, and a sense of humour in line with our core values.
A positive attitude, integrity, and professionalism.
