Domestic Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team. As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for providing cleaning and housekeeping services throughout a busy nursing home environment. This is a paid position with immediate availability.

Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
- Adhere to infection control procedures in healthcare settings
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy of clients

Requirements:
- Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Flexibility to work different shifts or schedules as needed

Pay: £11.44 per hour
