Domestic Assistant Full time - £10.90 per hour (pay review in April, salary will increase to £12 per hour as of 1st April 2024)

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Domestic Assistant to join the team in West View in Tenterden.
Main Responsibilities:
- To work as directed by the Service Manager and/or Domestic Supervisor within the Cleaning & Laundry operations
- Clean and sanitize rooms including furnishings in assigned work areas
- Ensure that the daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules are adhered to, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention and control are maintained at all times
- To work as directed for laundering, ironing and storing Service Users’ clothing and other linen in the Service
- Use all Cleaning & Laundry materials appropriately and as directed, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products
- Ensure that the Shaw healthcare Colour Coding Scheme is followed at all times
- Be able to communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families and colleagues, good interpersonal and working relationship skills are essential
- You will have the ability to work on your own initiative without direct supervision and be able to maintain a high level of hygiene within the home
