AddressThis role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our client in Edinburgh and require temporary Domestic Assistants (with the possibility of becoming permanent)
Interested candidates are required to have previous domestic assistant or cleaning experience ideally gained in a Healthcare environment.
Main duties include general cleaning tasks such as the disposal of refuse, high / low dusting, cleaning sanitary areas, wet mopping, cleaning of patient equipment, etc.
The ability to work on you own initiative and as part of a team is essential as is having good communication skills and the ability to prioritise and organise the daily duties, whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times regardless of the situation.
Experience with cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting would be an advantage, as would knowledge of COSHH, manual handling and infection control, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. You must be prepared to work shift patterns which also include weekends.
This role involves working full time 5 days over 7 which includes mornings / evenings / weekends.
Pay rate of £12.49 per hr (enhancements paid for weekend work)
