Domestic Gas Engineer (5488)

Murray Recruitment has an opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join a specialised Heating contractor based in Scotland.
This is a mobile position where you will be working on domestic contracts (mainly within Housing Associations) working on specific locations. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for attending to installation, service, repairs and maintenance of boilers within domestic properties.
Roles available in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife and Aberdeen.
Duties:
Attending domestic properties to carry out all agreed works.
Removal of the current boiler and replacement with air source heat pumps.
Scheduled PPMs as agreed.
Attending repairs and maintenance calls as and when required.
Diagnose faults and rectify/complete first fix.
Working in a customer-facing environment, ensuring you remain professional at all times.
Ensuring all works are carried out with the agreed SLA’s.
Ensuring all paperwork is correct and up to date.
Skills and qualifications:
SVQ Level 3 or equivalent City and Guilds.
Current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1.
Three years’ experience working as a standalone Domestic Gas Engineer.
Renewable experience would be advantageous – however not essential.
Full UK Driving License.
Ability to work on own initiative and or as part of a team.
Ability to work safely at all times and the ability to understand contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations.

£30,000 - £36,0000 (DOE and qualifications held).
