Randstad construction and property is looking for a mobile Gas Engineer to be responsible for gas installation, maintenance and servicing, across multiple site locations in the Manchester / Salford area. This role is for a Heating and Compliance firm where you will be providing straightforward solutions to make places safe, smart and better for all your clients
Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repairing, and maintenance tasks on domestic heating systems
- Adhere to specifications and gas safe regulations while executing works
- Thoroughly complete all required paperwork associated with the job
- Prioritise customer satisfaction and safety throughout the servicing process
- Availability for out-of-hours work, including overtime and on-call responsibilities
- Follow operational procedures, safe working practices, and health and safety protocols
- Promptly report any accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards
- Undertake additional maintenance tasks within the assigned scope of work
- Demonstrate flexibility in working with a diverse range of customers
Required Skills
- Full driving licence
- ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
- Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
- LPG, UNVENTED qualifications are desirable
- You have experience of working within a social housing environment and understand how the sector improves people's lives (Desirable)
- Inspection and Testing qualification (desirable)
