We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our Clients Property Management team, ensuring their homes are safe and comfortable places to live. This role involves carrying out Gas Servicing and Heating Breakdowns, as well as planned maintenance checks and installations within customer homes, adhering to the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Day to Day of the role:- Perform routine service of gas appliances in accordance with current Gas Regulations, Health & Safety regulations, and company policies.
- Install central heating, hot water systems, and other heating appliances, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Keep up-to-date with Gas Safe Register technical bulletins and comply with all current Health and Safety legislation and Gas regulations.
- Use mobile IT equipment and paper systems to complete records of all serviced or installed appliances.
- Provide accurate and timely information for reports and recommendations concerning future maintenance and safe use of appliances and equipment.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure clear communication regarding progress and actions taken.
- Participate in the delivery of Out of Hours call-out service as per company policies.
- Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT1, MET1, CKR1, and HTR1.
- NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing or equivalent is ideal.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in using IT equipment such as iPads.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Domestic Gas service and breakdown engineer, preferably within social housing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- £335 yearly Tool Allowance.
