SalaryDomestic Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Improver required for our client, a HVAC specialist, based in Durham. This is an opportunity for a domestically qualified Gas Engineer, or newly qualified Commercial Gas Engineer, who is looking to go through their ACS Commercial tickets and / or increase their knowledge and experience working on commercial boilers and appliances. The Commercial Gas Improver will assist a Senior Engineer to provide service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding to commercial boiler's / appliances, as well as domestic sized boilers, in commercial sites, in and around the North East.
The Commercial Gas Improver MUST hold their ACS Domestic Gas qualifications and have strong, fault finding / repair experience as a minimum, with 5+ years post apprenticeship experience also as a minimum. The candidate must be an experienced Domestic Gas engineer already, for the client to put them through their commercial qualifications.

Domestic Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Improver Position Remuneration
- Basic Salary - £35,000 to £38,000 depending on experience
- Company van and fuel card
- Upskilling to ACS commercial gas qualifications
- Overtime rates paid for work before 8am and after 4:30pm (x1.5)
- 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
