Hays are supporting a Midlands-based charity. This charity is well established and known for providing a range of support to individuals that have been victims of domestic abuse. Their holistic, informed support that enables victims to escape violence and abuse, cope with trauma and build resilience.
Your new role
The Domestic Abuse service supports victims of Domestic Violence and abuse throughout the West Midlands via a range of contracted/commissioning arrangements. As a Domestic Abuse Adviser, you will support people with care and support needs. This will be a high quality frontline support service for victims of Domestic Violence and abuse, with a focus on learning and physical disabilities. You will support clients by assessing the level of risk, informing clients of their option and helping them access relevant services.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of offering support to the victims of a certain trauma with the ability to hold good knowledge of offering good guidance and signposting. You will be empathetic, supportive and able to put their needs before your own.
You must hold a full driving licence
