SalaryWe are looking for an Maufacturing Door Engineer to work with roller shutter door manufacturing in an expanding factory in the West of Newcastle.
As an industrial door Engineer, you will be manufacturing, , fabricating and repairing a range of automatic doors, including high-speed doors, security roller shutters, fire roller shutters and sectional doors.
Working as part of a team, you will be working in an established manufacturing environment and could also be travelling to some sites predominantly within a 100 mile radius of Newcastle to assist with installation.

Key duties / responsibilities
- Fabricate, modify and install a full range of commercial and industrial doors.
- Ideally electrical wiring first and second fix, connection, test and fault-finding experience with single and three phase control panels and electrical installations.
- Reading of drawings and technical instructions.
- Completion of all required documentation and ability to use tablet & mobile phone data entry as required in both receiving instructions and logging all competed calls with adherence to procedures.
What we would like from you
- Fabrication ideally on roller shutter doors or similar
- Electrical fault-finding experience & capability
- Mechanical experience & capabilities in repairing electro-mechanical equipment
- Industrial door experience
- Full driving licence - no more than 6 points
- Valid CSCS
- Valid IPAF
