SalaryMy client is an established international provider of automatic and industrial doors. They develop, install, service and maintain their systems. Due to ongoing demand, they are looking for a Door Service Technician to cover the Northern belt. The successful candidate will enjoy a range of benefits and training and will have access to plenty of overtime. You must have hands on experience with automatic and/or industrial doors and have a UK Driving Licence.
Door Service Technician Position Overview
- Carrying out fault finding, diagnosis, service and maintenance on a range of auto and/or industrial doors
- Travelling across the Blackpool - Yorkshire area
- Working to company and legal standards
- Ensuring van is stocked
- Communicating with clients in a professional manner
- Completing paperwork
- Based at home and travelling to client sites
Door Service Technician Position Requirements
- Must have experience on either industrial or auto door installation and maintenance. This can be at junior or senior level
- Auto door technicians should ideally have their BS EN16005
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications beneficial
- Happy to travel across the Blackpool - Yorkshire area
- Happy to partake in 1 in 7 call out rota
- Full UK Driving Licence
Door Service Technician Position Remuneration
- Hourly rate £13.00 - £16.00 DOE
- 5 Hours Monday - Friday with flexible start and finish
- Overtime available
- 25 days holiday + birthday off after 1 years' service
- Overtime paid whilst on holiday
- Van and fuel card provided. Personal use also allowed
- Power tools provided
- Regular product training
