Job description

An opportunity for an engineer to join a well-established organisation on a full-time, permanent basis.

Please note, this is a 40-hour week and different shift patterns apply:

  • Day Shift: 7:30AM - 5PM (£13 per hour)
  • Evening Shift: 3PM - 12PM (£19.50 per hour)
  • Overtime: Saturday (£19.50 per hour) Sunday (£26 per hour)

As the Drainage Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out all aspects of drainage work for corporate and individual clients.
  • Attending PPM work and any call outs.
  • Lifting manhole covers, jetting by hand, dragging the hose from the reel.
  • Entering chambers, cleaning debris.
  • Lifting gulleys up to 40kg on a hinge.
  • Clearing small internal pipes.
  • Tanker work - dragging pipes of pressured water.

The successful Drainage Engineer will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Valid driving licence.
  • Physically able to complete heavy lifting.
  • Previous drainage experience would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Good timekeeping.
