Our Client

Our client is a company that specialises in complete all Drainage services to corporate clients managing reactive domestic and commercial property emergencies and PPM work. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse, or a burst water pipe.

Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for a very well experienced Drainage Engineer - who has an excellent all round skill set, to carry out field service site work located in and around Peterborough

The Role

Our client currently has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Drainage Engineer to work in a home-based role this position will be covering areas in and Peterborough driving to site where the job is based. Duties are to be completed accurately including being be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind.

• Contracted working hours are from 8am - 5pm - Monday to Friday

Technical Support Team will be available at all times to help with any issues you may face whilst on the job, from technical problems to vehicle and kit requirements.

Essential Skill Set / Experience and Qualifications

• Being a trusted employee for all preventative maintenance and remedial work requirements for drainage issues - commercial and domestic sites.
• Blockages locating blockages and clearing blockages with High Pressure Jetting equipment.
• CCTV camera survey experience is necessary to trace and locate issues, pre and post surveys.
• Manhole entry / breaking experience - experience of using power tools.
• Remedial follow-on works to be carried out.
• Drain Repair experience - patching and lining would be very advantageous
• Reinstatement experience would be very advantageous
• Basic plumbing skills would be a great advantage.
• You must be a people person and be able to confidently explain and issues to customers, so they understand the problems and what work is necessary to resolve.
• In date related drainage tickets are very desirable - such as confined spaces, high pressure water jetting, street works
• Driving license with no more than 6 points essential
• A basic DBS clearance check will be carried out upon joining the company, due to the nature of the premises

The Rewards

The company are willing to pay a basic competitive salary between GBP32,000 - GBP38,000 depending on experience and qualifications, plus a fully expensed vehicle, enhanced over time rates.
