Drainage Engineer

You will predominantly be site-based undertaking all drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit.

You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities.

We are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer with a variety of qualifications such as street works, CSCS, High Pressure water jetting etc.

Duties will include delivering a high-quality service to our commercial and domestic customers. It is fundamental that applicants have a positive "can do" attitude and a flexible approach due to the 1 in 4 on call rota. The daily duties will be carrying out drainage jobs, either reactive jobs around the area or larger pre-planned works.

The work times are on site at 8am until 5pm apart from 1 in 4 on call.

Responsibilities

• Basic Groundworks, drain repairs and reinstatements.

• CCTV Camera survey of drains, record defects and recommend necessary repairs.

• Complete paperwork and send it back to the office electronically using the company mobile phone.

• High Pressure Water Jetting The Requirements

• Candidates will have a background and experience working in the drainage sector

• Preferably have a CSCS card, High Pressure Water Jetting, Confined Spaces

• Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check.
