Performing Arts Teacher (Drama)

We are a “good” mixed Secondary school in Maidstone, committed to providing an inclusive education and enabling all students to excel within a nurturing environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and inspiring full-time, permanent Teacher of Performing Arts (Drama) to join us from Easter or September. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.
Day to day of the role:
• Deliver engaging and high-quality drama lessons predominantly at Key Stage 3, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 4 for the right candidate.
• Motivate, inspire, and engage students through practical work and creative teaching methods.
• Contribute to the development of our Performing Arts curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment that aligns with our ‘SMILE’ ethos.
• Support the school’s vision of ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Recent and relevant teaching experience in Drama.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students in the field of Performing Arts.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
