As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Steelwork Draughtsman to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As an Architectural Steelwork Draughtsman at you will play a pivotal role in the design and detailing of architectural and structural steelwork projects. Working closely with architects, engineers, and project managers, you will contribute to the creation of accurate and detailed drawings that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create detailed steelwork fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and design intent.
• Generate 3D models and 2D drawings using industry-standard CAD software (AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
• Review and modify drawings based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to the production team during the fabrication and installation phases.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards related to architectural and structural steelwork.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a draughtsman in the architectural or structural steelwork industry.
• Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
• Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
