Must have a current CPC Licence and experience driving a 7.5T

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our client's team as a Driver/Warehouse Operative. This dual role is perfect for someone who enjoys a balance of driving and Warehouse duties, with a 50/50 split between the two. The successful candidate will be responsible for local and national deliveries, as well as maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse.

Day to Day of the role:

• Safely transport and deliver goods to customers across the North East and the wider UK.
• Receive, check, and process incoming supplier deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Pick and pack customer orders, maintaining high standards to prevent damage and meet dispatch requirements.
• Perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and control.
• Provide excellent customer service at the trade counter, handling transactions and inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and storage yard.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Engage in manual handling tasks and work in various environments, including outdoor areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Full Clean Driving Licence.
• A 7.5T and a current CPC Licence.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative.
• Current forklift licence.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
