Driver Support - What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting our suppliers after they have completed the initial onboarding process.
• Building relationships with suppliers, by delivering ongoing support and training.
• Brokering movements across our network to make sure every vehicle movement we have is pre-allocated to a supplier.
• Manage your own group of suppliers and to ensure they meet operational and financial KPIs.
• Difficult conversations will be required, as there will be occasions when remedial action is necessary.
• Mentoring suppliers, helping them to improve by providing honest feedback
• There is a sales element to the role.
• Effectively planning driver’s days to ensure vehicles are collected/delivered on time and limiting driver’s travel between movements.

Driver Support - What Skills Do You Need to Succeed:

• Transport Planning experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills are essential as you will spend a large amount of time on the phone with suppliers.
• Ability to collaborate with your internal team effectively.
• We are a growing business and we want someone who can contribute new ideas and looking for ways to improve current procedures and processes.
• Good negotiation skills would be a bonus.
