AddressShift Pattern – Days (Will be discussed at interview)
Base location: Duncrue Street, Belfast
Due to our continual growth, we are looking to appoint Drivers Helpers to join our busy Logistics Team. This role will be based out of the Duncrue Depot.
Role and Responsibilities:
- To provide assistance to the driver at all times
- Obtain all necessary documentation for the daily runs to ensure efficient operation of the business activities
- Check customer routing for the daily runs, prioritising workloads to ensure all customer commitments are achieved
- Provide excellent customer service that supports the RiverRidge brand
- Due to the physical nature of the role, you will be required to collect and move commercial containers
- Ensure all electronic paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure Health and Safety adherence at all times
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department
Essential Criteria:
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence (Max 6 penalty points)
- Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience in dealing with customers and members of the public
- Ability to work well with others and a team player
- Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
- Flexible approach to working hours to include weekends and Bank Holidays
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Previous experience working within the Transport sector

- Competitive hourly rate – £10.90/hour

- Overtime rate of time and a half (£16.35) for hours worked over 45 hours/Mon-Fri
