SalaryPremier Work Support are recruiting for a Drop-Off Delivery Driver for one of our long standing prestigious Clients based just outside of Horley, Surrey.
We are seeking a reliable and responsible 3.5 Tonne Delivery Drop-Off Driver to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5 tonne delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery information, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain delivery logs and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping of deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and organizing inventory.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid UK DVLA Driving Licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
Working Hours:
- Start Time - 05:00AM
- 9 Hour Shift with a 45 minute lunch break.
