**Job Opportunity: Secondary Design and Technology (DT) Teacher**
**Location:** Stoke-on-Trent
**Start Date:** January
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Secondary Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join our esteemed school community in Stoke-on-Trent. The position is available for a January start, focusing on teaching DT to secondary school students.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **DT Education:** Deliver engaging and comprehensive Design and Technology lessons, inspiring students and fostering practical skills in areas such as product design and manufacturing.
2. **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the continuous improvement of the DT curriculum, ensuring alignment with the needs and interests of our diverse student body.
3. **Practical Projects:** Guide students through hands-on projects, encouraging creativity and problem-solving in the design process.
4. **Assessment and Progress Monitoring:** Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their practical and academic development.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of design principles and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a team-oriented teaching environment.
