We are delighted to advertise an excellent opportunity to join our professional support team for an enthusiastic part-time Textiles Technician at our highly successful College. The successful candidate will provide a practical support to our technology department. The successful candidate will prepare materials for lessons, set up sewing machines, manage stock levels and support our students in practical lessons. There will be many opportunities to work with students which can be immensely rewarding. Experience in pattern cutting and general textiles construction techniques is desirable for this role. The department team is warm and welcoming.
About the role:
• Part-time role
• Grade 4, SCP 4-6
• Salary of £23,114 - £23,893 paid pro rata, per annum
• Term-time only, plus six inset days
• Previous experience of a similar role desirable
• Excellent communication skills are essential
