Job description

An Overview

Founded in 2005, Footasylum has a proven track record in the inception of Own Brand labels in the UK and European markets. Brands such as Glorious Gangsta, KWD, Monterrain, and Zavetti are notable examples.

Knowing of the opportunity that exists to grow the business' multicategory Own Brand proposition further, BrandASYLUM has been formed. This new business unit aims to increase this proposition's commerciality and brand legitimacy through targeted investment in strategy, people, and time. You will be the response for the lifecycle management of the Own Brands.

BrandASYLUM is a new addition to the Footasylum group, so the business unit requires you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and approach. You should have a firm understanding of best practices in the areas of expertise but have the agility in the process to adapt to the needs of the brands. As the pillars of Desirability, Visibility, and Accessibility are circular, collaboration and teamwork across the business unit will be crucial in the success of BrandASYLUM.

As our BrandAsylum DTC Ecommerce Executive, you will join our ever-growing department. Your key objective will be monitoring the DTC websites, working with the creative team to deliver content updates and conducting regular website checks to ensure high performance.

Responsibilities.

  • Collate and analyse website statistics and product sales data, to enhance web trading performance and identify best/underperforming areas, and producing weekly and ad hoc reports on performance.
  • Have a firm understanding of the revenue targets for your department, working closely with the Head of Digital Trade to ensure targets are achieved and spend is managed in line with budget.
  • Liaising with multiple teams, to approve suitable products to be included on the website and all featured marketing communications.
  • Use rule-based algorithms and manual modification to ensure that key categories are fully merchandised and optimised to drive sales.
  • Working with CRM, Marketing, and the Merchandising departments to ensure promotions and communications are aligned and consistent with our brand guidelines.
  • Working with the Paid Media team to ensure the DTC brands and their products are being pushed effectively in-line with budget.
  • Working with the Affiliate Marketing team to communicate daily offers, incentives, product launches and marketing exposure to our affiliate partners, ensuring communications are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Working with the SEO team to ensure that all website content is accurate and enhanced for SEO purposes.
  • Embrace the value of “Defying Ordinary” by driving continued and relentless improvement and innovation within the DTC department.
  • Play a key role in the launch and growth of new DTC websites, establishing web best practices and building out marketing channels.

Skills and Experience

  • Prioritised new features to develop a leading and seamless customer experience.
  • Several years’ experience in eCommerce.
  • Highly analytical, commercial, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fantastic communication - both written and oral.
  • Responsible for owning the execution of the customer ecommerce and trade strategy.
  • Worked closely with various teams to lead plans across trading and merchandising to ensure forecasts are achieved.
  • Provided detailed analysis to track KPI performance and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Able to prioritise and manage several projects.
  • Attention to detail.

Diversity

We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are building products and services. We know that this will help us build useful and accessible things which our customers will love. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences and backgrounds.

Recruitment Process

We’ll help make the interview process as transparent and stress-free as possible.

We review applications individually, and if we feel you would be a good fit, we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role and to see if we’re a good fit for you.

We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, allowing you to learn about our work in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel this is your opportunity.

Please note this is not a remote role, and we expect that you will be able to attend Head Office in a hybrid way in Greater Manchester.
