Our client, a well-established Lloyd's Market Insurer, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their Underwriting department as a DUA Executive.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage Delegated Underwriting Authority relationships with brokers and coverholders
* Review and assess underwriting submissions
* Negotiate terms and conditions with clients
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* provide the syndicate underwriting teams with guidance and advice supporting the management and set up of delegated underwriting arrangements for all lines of business
Key Skills:
* Practical knowledge and experience of working with DUAs either from an underwriting or compliance perspective
* Ability to manage time, manage projects, meet deadlines and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills both internally & externally
* Experience in the Insurance industry
