Duty Manager

We are currently seeking a passionate Duty Managerto join the team here at House of George.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to be a part of the launch of the House of George Hotel, nestled in the beautiful town of Broadway in the Cotswolds.

The successful candidate will be part of something special and will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to the table, with high levels of empowerment to implement new innovations.

About the role

As the DutyManageryou will work closely with Restaurant Manager and Reception Manager, assisting the venue management team with opening and closing procedures

Ensuring that all colleagues have the necessary skills to perform their duties at an exceptional level, whether on the sales of beverages, wines, and/or food items, or any agreed standards of service and delivery

To maintain quality products & services at the highest level and correct the unfulfilled elements if necessary

To assist the recruitment, management, training and development of the team.

Supervising the setup and breakdown of the venue, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and maintaining housekeeping standards

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• Current experience within a hotel or similar environment
• Excellent level of English
• Excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues
• Effective organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload
• Excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Have a strong eye for detail
