We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. You will take bookings and monies for events and sporting facilities at The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.Assisting with our pay-and-play facility, you will also facilitate small sports events and school sports days, ensuring that our facilities and equipment comply with good practice standards.Additionally, you will:- Ensure a safe, high-quality user experience- Open and close the Hub- Oversee the use of the Hub and the sports pitches- Assist with pitch inspections to ensure safe conditionsAbout YouTo be considered as a Duty Officer, you will need:- A commitment to exceptional customer service- IT literacy and basic numeracy skills, with an aptitude to learn how to use a computer-based booking system and information management systems- The willingness to work unsupervised- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people of all agesOther organisations may call this role Leisure Assistant, Leisure Centre Assistant, Venue Hire Assistant, Sports Assistant, or Sports Co-ordinator.We want to put everyone in the best possible position to succeed and use Recite-me accessibility software.
