Dynamics 365/PowerApps Developer

Role Description:


A client of ours is seeking a proficient Dynamics 365/PowerApps Developer to join their Digital Transformation team in Nottingham. This position entails creating, developing, and implementing solutions within the Dynamics 365 and PowerApps platforms to streamline business processes, improve workflows, and empower users.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with different teams to grasp business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Develop custom Power Apps solutions, including both canvas and model-driven applications, as well as Power Automate flows.
  • Customize and enhance Dynamics 365 CRM using Power Platform tools.
  • Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft technologies and third-party systems.
  • Improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the scalability of Power Apps solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform.
  • Aid in the transition from CE & PSA Dynamics to Project Operations.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and agile development processes.
  • Support the Dynamics infrastructure by assisting the development team with BAU issue resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement program by making changes to Dynamics workflows and configurations and suggesting technical solutions.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, including configuration using web-based tools and client-side JavaScript customization.
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Dynamics 365 CRM framework and platform.
  • Familiarity with Azure/Dataverse.
  • Experience in creating custom plugins using C# or .NET.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Dataverse.
  • Exposure to D365 Finance & Operations and a basic understanding of configuration (beneficial).
  • MCSA Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations certification.
  • Power Platform certification.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions.
