E-Commerce Assistant

Location: E-commerce Office (Superstore)

Hours:20 hours per week over 3 or 4 days, to include some weekend working and selected bank holidays

Salary:£22,738 per annum, pro rata for part time hours.

Contract: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity to join our E-commerce Team. This is a great chance to join

our established team who are responsible for our online presence on various platforms such

as eBay, Vinted and the Hospice website.

This role involves assisting the E-commerce Team ensuring our digital operation always meets the needs of the business and to be a proactive member of the wider Retail Team.

As our E-commerce Assistant you will support the team to:

§ identify items of value and accurately price check them to ensure they are sold for the highest value

§ prepare, list and despatch items for sale online in accordance with agreed policies and procedures

§ support our team of volunteers with pricing and listing

§ complete administrative tasks as required

You will need to be enthusiastic, customer and target focussed, and enjoy working with a diverse range of products to sell. You will be required to complete paperwork and therefore a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is useful. It would be desirable to have experience in working with online platforms but full training will be given.

As you may be required to supervise volunteers under the age of 18 years, we ask our staff to have an Enhanced DBS certificate (which we will arrange).
