Job description


Forward Role have team up with one of the fastest growing luxury fashion sports retailers in the UK. With rapid growth in 2023, which saw them massively disrupt the current market they are seen as one of the big players in the luxury fashion industry. With huge plans for 2024. 
They are on the lookout for an E-commerce Manager to continue the expansion. You will collaborate closely with the Head of E-commerce & CDO as well as guide the current E-commerce Executive to help drive this remarkable growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build the annual budget and forecasts to deliver the 3 year plan or partner contract commercials – bottom up planning that is fully aligned with the top down guidance coming from the Account Management team
  • Responsible for delivering day to day sales and margin including detailed planning and forecasting
  • Create and execute the activity plans that will deliver these budgets, including:
  • Site traffic and customer acquisition
  • On-site content
  • On- site merchandising
  • Product and sales promotions
  • Customer retention
  • Day to day site management ensuring that products, promotions and content are timely, accurate and delivering on KPIs
  • Regular daily contact with partner contacts to ensure these activities are aligned and signed off with the partner
  • Web merchandising – Ensure all category and product landing pages are fully optimised for the best possible customer experience
  • Monitoring and analysis of site performance, implementing corrective actions/additional activity based on this analysis and interpretation
  • Create, communicate and act on a clear view of the consumer to ensure that decision making is led by customer understanding
  • Provide Ecommerce expertise to the Account Management team as and when required (eg Monthly reviews, strategic reviews, contract negotiations)
  • Effective management and development of trading assistants to realise their full potential including objective setting, development planning and regular performance feedback
  • Deputise for the Head of Digital as required

Experience 

  • 2+ years experience in a B-2-C Ecommerce/Online Marketing role
  • Experience of team management
  • Experience of working effectively with external partners
  • Marketing/commercial degree preferable

  • Track record of applying highly developed analytical and planning skills
  • Good commercial acumen and decision making
  • Must possess the confidence and maturity to manage numerous stakeholders with different priorities and opinions
