Job description

We are excited to once again be working with a large educational/charity organisation who are seeking to recruit an E-learning developer to be responsible for creating e-learning content as they embark on a company wide digital transformation. You will also be working with a fantastic L&D Manager who is extremely supportive.

Not only will you be developing instructional content but also will be delivering this content to a variety of super users together with your manager in an online environment (TEAMS). You do not have to have delivery experience but must be willing to get involved with the online training. You will be working on a number of projects associated with different systems. This a fixed term contract for 6 months and is fully remote but with some occasional travel to UK Offices when required.

In this exciting role you will play an active role in achieving the roll out of a new HR system,Finance system and Student record system.

In this role as E-learning Developer you will be:

  • Engaging with Project Manager and SME’s of each work scheme and translating this into engaging content and resources
  • Develop online resource materials to support the training and enhance knowledge retention
  • Embed a train the trainer approach
  • Undertake the training delivery online to users
  • Utilise MS TEAM meetings as the classroom
  • Support Tutors and other learners with the migration from Zoom to Teams;
  • Report to the L&D Manager who is very supportive!

To be successful in this role of Learning & Development Manager you will need:

  • Highly competent in Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge and practical experience of Adobe Captivate
  • Knowledge of PageTiger but this can developed if not (preferable)
  • Willingness to train users online when required further into the project
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Attend some in-person meetings when required (these could be in London or Leeds)
  • An enthusiastic attitude to ensure your online audience engages with the content
  • Comfortable working remotely
